Trolling for Silvers in Valdez can be
some of the most exciting fishing
around. The silvers come in in
August, and stay through the first week
of September when the commercial guys
get to drop their nets. These silvers
are still feeding, and are very
aggressive on hitting the trolling
hearing as well as spoons, spinners and
even bare hooks.
The
Silver Slmon limit is 6 per person and
from Aug 1st - Sept. 10th we don't have
any problem pulling limits. Most
of the time we will fish silvers for a
while and once our limit is in the boat
then change over and go for bottom fish.
Like the yellow eye snapper, or the
black bass.
All of our Silver fishing is done in the
Ocean and we run a basic "six pack"
boat. No more than 6 fishermen on
the boat. A large lunch is
provided and the boat is operated on a
flat fee of 1500.00 for the day or
$300.00 per person minimum 2 people.
This provides you with everything you
need to catch this powerful Salmon.
