Each package will include your designated number
of nights in our beautiful, rustic lodge and
your adventurous rafting trips. All of your
meals will also be provided. The kitchen in the
lodge will have all you need to have a great
breakfast. When you have eaten we will head off
for the river. Lunch will be provided on
the trip.
Rafting is a
great way to see Alaska in all it's majesty. Be
sure and look for our "little" mascot,
the Kingfisher.
Feel free to ask your guide about anything. Our
guides are well educated in the surroundings you
will be in. From the birds in the sky to the
plants and trees around you to "What
mountain is that?" Whether you choose the Peaceful Gulkana or the
Raging Klutina or just another river in the
state, your trip is sure to be
memorable.
We offer trips everyone
in the family can enjoy. Do you have small
children? Don't hesitate to bring them. The
Gulkana
River is the perfect scenic river for
them to be on. Ours have been on the river since
they were infants. For you more adventurous
rafters lets hit the Copper,
Klutina
or Tonsina
river. Be prepared for a great ride!
At
the end of the day we will drive you back to the
lodge where you can get cleaned up and ready for
dinner. We have three options for dinner. They
include: Dinning Out, Dinning In, or Grandma's
Famous Salmon Dinner. If you choose to dine out
we will make dinner reservations for your party
at one of the local restaurants. If you choose
to dine in however dinner will be up to you. We
will provide all the food necessary for you to
prepare dinner. Grandma's
dinner is always a favorite so let us know what
you decide. As with any trip we provide it is
our #1 goal to make your trip unforgettable.

What
to expect when you book a trip:
When you
book a rafting and lodging trip there are a few
things to consider. Here is a list of the
questions you will be asked.
What
type of river do you want to raft? (If
you know the rivers please specify which one you
want to do.) Unsure?
How many days of rafting/lodging to you want?
Are you a vegetarian? (We
ask this question only to provide the proper
food for you as the client.)
Will you want to dine in or out?
Do you want a Grandma's Salmon Dinner one night
you are with us?
When
you arrive at our KingFisher's Perch
headquarters you will be asked to fill out a
lunch menu for the upcoming trip. A new lunch
menu will be given to you at the end of each day
for the next days lunch. |
